What does a space consultant do?

And some of the best jobs of the week to keep your job hunting alive

Hello everyone,

We often talk about the engineers building rockets and spacecraft. But what about those who build the strategy? Or who shape the policies and communicates the value of space to the world?

These roles are the “other half” of the industry. And they are important too! And this is why I’m very excited to launch the first Career Spotlight!!

It’s a good one. If you wonder what it’s really like to be a Senior Space & Defense Consultant then you’ll love it.

Remember you can apply to be featured here.

🧐 What does a Space Consultant really do?

Our first ever Career Spotlight is now live on the Find a Space Job blog!

💰 Follow the Money… when it comes

Indeed it was going to be tough to keep seeing investments into European space startups. But don’t worry that I’ve enjoyed this mini section of the newsletter and will try to keep you updated with any cool funding rounds around Europe.

But this week is quite a big one as most of the space industry is meeting in Sidney for the International Astronautical Congress.

It’s basically where big deals and partnerships get started so keep an eye out for a wave of announcements in the coming days.

Are you at the IAC this week? If you are let me know how it's going. I'd love to hear what you're seeing and learning!

That’s it for the week.

Until next Thursday!

P.S. Remember: the Career Spotlight is still on so if you want to be part of it: you can do so here!
