This week: just the jobs

But not just any job... the best space jobs!

Hello everyone,

No long intros or big features this week. Of course the Career Spotlight is on (!!!) but that’ll come later.

Sometimes, the most valuable thing is to get straight to the point. So here we go

🚀 Spotlight: New on findaspacejob.com

Here are some of the most interesting roles that have been added to the site this week:

  • Backend Engineer (Distributed Systems) @ Odysseus Space (Luxembourg)

👉 This is a chance to build the engine room of their service. A critical backend role to make their global ground station network a reality.

  • Junior Professional in Innovative Optical Payloads for Future EO Missions @ ESA (Netherlands)

👉 The Junior Professional Programme is one of the best ways into ESA. This role is about designing the 'eyes' for future Earth Observation satellites. You'll be working on some cool sensor technology.

  • Impact Acceleration Research Associate in VLEO Satellite Systems @ The University of Manchester (UK)

👉 VLEO is one of the most challenging frontiers in space right now—you're basically flying satellites through the upper limits of the atmosphere. Great research opportunity

  • Junior Professional in Optical and Quantum Detector Technologies @ ESA (Netherlands)

👉 Another top entry level opportunity, but this one is even more futuristic. You'll be working on quantum level detector technology. This is quite a lot of R&D.

  • EU Space Innovation Officer @ EUSPA (Czech Republic)

👉 A fantastic (and not very common!) non-technical role. Your job is literally to help shape the future of the EU space ecosystem by supporting innovation and new market opportunities. Not bad at all.

  • Junior Professional in AI and Data Science @ ESA (Netherlands)

👉 AI is one of the most important fields in space right now, from mission operations to analyzing satellite data. This is a chance to get in on the ground floor at ESA.

  • Industrial Policy Officer @ ESA (Netherlands)

👉 This is a big picture (and non technical) role. You're not working on one satellite; you're working on the policies that shape the entire European space industry's competitiveness.

(…and many more jobs on the new job board!)

🛰️ Extra bits

More to come next week!

Until next Thursday!

P.S. The first Community Spotlight is in the works! Just finalising details and will share it in an upcoming issue. Stay tuned.

Of course this is now a tradition haha: I’ll let you choose one: 1 or 2 or 3. But ignore number 2.
