The Hiring Window is Open

And so is company registration on Find a Space Job

Hello hello

We're back and this week has been packed.

Big news on the platform side: companies can now register and create their profile on Find a Space Job. It's been a long time coming and it's just the start of what's coming next. More on that below πŸ‘‡

On the news side: ATMOS just raised €25.7M to make European orbital return a real thing, Germany's defence space machine keeps rolling with the Rheinmetall-OHB venture and SpaceX is apparently buying an AI coding tool for $60 billion because why not.

Oh, and Blue Origin had a very bittersweet week. Nailed the booster landing, fumbled the rest. Rockets are hard.

But what we really care about: the industry is hiring. A lot.

Let's get into it πŸ‘‡

πŸš€ Spotlight: New on findaspacejob.com

Here are some of the best space jobs available today:

If you do not see a role you like here, go check the job board for the full list. And tell me: what role are you looking for?

🀝 Companies can now join Find a Space Job

This one's been in the works for a while, and it's finally here.

Companies can now register, create their profile and post/manage jobs on Find a Space Job directly. No friction, no waiting around.

And the next step is already in motion: a candidate database where companies can actively search for talent (aka you if you register ;) and not just post and pray, but actually go find the right people.

So if you've been sitting on your CV wondering where to put it... here's your answer. The companies joining the platform are hiring now, and when the search feature drops, the candidates who are already there will get found first.

Early days are the best days to show up. We're building this with the people who join first (and share what they need!) and that shapes everything that comes after.

More soon πŸ‘€

if you were wondering, that email is taken sorry

πŸ—žοΈ This week in space

ATMOS Space Cargo raises €25.7M

The German return capsule company just closed a Series A to build three PHOENIX 2 capsules and kick off routine operations. Europe's first regular orbital return service is getting real and they're already eyeing a defence subsidiary and a much bigger PHOENIX 3. However, this is a crowded market… with The Exploration Company, Space Forge and others all racing to the same finish line.

Pangea Propulsion gets €2M

Not the biggest cheque in the world, but a nice signal that regional governments are backing deep-tech space. This propulsion company from Barcelona is doubling down on testing and manufacturing after a strong 2025. Definitely one to watch.

Rheinmetall + OHB joint venture gets green light

Germany's antitrust authority approved their new joint venture to bid on military satellite communications contracts. With €35B in German defence space spending committed by 2030, the race for those contracts is officially on. Europe's fragmentation problem hasn't gone away though.

New Glenn's bittersweet third flight

Blue Origin nailed their first booster reuse! But then the upper stage dropped the ball and put AST SpaceMobile's satellite into the wrong orbit. One step forward, one step back.

SpaceX wants to buy Cursor for $60B

Not strictly space news but when the company building your rockets acquires a $60 billion AI coding tool... it's worth noting. SpaceX is now becoming a monster after acquiring xAI (and Twitter as a result, btw) and now planning on buying Cursor. The IPO is apparently coming this summer: will you buy shares?

That’s all for this week.

Keep applying and keep hiring: but now register!

Until next week.
