New space jobs this week!
You know where to find the best space jobs...

Hello everyone,
I don’t know about you but the start of september is busy, busy… so a bit of a short one today.
We are working in the background to give you the best jobs and they are slowly coming in! As usual (and thanks for this!!) your feedback is very much appreciated!
Off we go
🚀 Spotlight: New on findaspacejob.com
Here are some of the most interesting roles that have been added to the site this week:
Embedded Engineer @ Protostar Labs (Croatia)
👉 If you love hands on engineering on AI and space, then this might be a really good job for you.
Project Officer @ SatCen (Spain)
👉 Madrid, space, international projects… what else?
Payload & Performance System Engineer @ ESA (Netherlands)
👉 This one is just a great role. I think I should I even apply myself…? Systems engineering roles are the best.
Sales Director @ Involve Space (Italy)
👉 If you’re a good salesman, please do two things: apply to this one and reach out, haha
Launch Operations Specialist @ Involve Space (Italy)
👉 Hands on role to help prepare and launch stratospheric balloons.
CEO Assistant @ Involve Space (Italy)
👉 A very uncommon role. A great way of understanding (and living, basically) the life of a space company CEO.
Project Scientist @ ESA (ESTEC/ESAC)
👉 Any scientist around? I know there are a few 👀 so this one goes for you! Not all in the space industry is for engineers (but if you’re an engineer you can still apply ;)
Impact Acceleration Research Associate in VLEO Satellite Systems @ The University of Manchester (UK)
👉 VLEO is one of the most challenging frontiers in space right now: and this is still open!!
EU Space Innovation Officer @ EUSPA (Czech Republic)
👉 A fantastic (and not very common!) non technical role. Help shape the future of the EU space ecosystem by supporting innovation and new market opportunities… why don’t you apply?
(…and many more jobs on the new job board!)
💰 Follow the Money…
Or so they say… Well, just in case you’re the type of person who “strategises” their career (which, I have to say, it’s important to do to some extent - but please don’t go crazy, not all in life is work), I have great news for you: over the past week (approx) there’s been quite a lot of funding going in to European space startups.
For the newbies, this means these companies will probably scale their teams very very soon: so be ready
ReOrbit (€45M raised): They build small satellites for security and communications. What this means for jobs: They're expanding production. Watch for roles in manufacturing, AIT, software and satellite engineering.
Cailabs (€57M raised): They are scaling up production of laser communication systems. What this means for jobs: Expect a wave of hiring in photonics, optical engineering, industrial production and hardware testing.
Messium (£3.3M raised): They use hyperspectral imagery and AI to help farmers. What this means for jobs: They'll be looking for AI/ML specialists, data scientists and remote sensing experts with an agricultural focus.
Astradyne (€2M raised): They're developing ultralight solar panels for satellites. What this means for jobs: Look for roles in materials science, mechanical engineering and power systems.
Space DOTS ($1.5M raised): Their platform helps detect and interpret threats to satellites in orbit. What this means for jobs: They will likely need more software engineers, data analysts and experts in orbital mechanics and space situational awareness.
And this other one which is massive also: worth checking
So now you know!
What do you think of the new section?
This is all for this week. More to come.
Until next Thursday!
P.S. Remember: the Career Spotlight is still on so if you want to be part of it: you can do so here!
P.S.S. And I have to tell you all, this one is my BEST one of all times. haha you’ve got to love this (it’s a real question I have… haha, so don’t take it personally……….. ;)
