New space jobs everywhere + a little question
Do you want to share your story? Career spotlight is here for you!

Hello everyone,
You might know me already but I like to do stuff and try new things… and this week is no exception 😅 (I start to feel sorry for the quasi-spam, haha. Let’s see what you think of this)
I’m planning on launching a Career Spotlight series for Find a Space Job.
The idea is simple: to share real stories from people like you. I’ve already spoken to a few of you and I keep thinking of a way of sharing all the stories/experience that you all have. It gives such a nice overview of the industry: because each path is in a way unique.
To get started (because that’s what we all have to do: take action), I’m starting this (hopefully) now. But to make it happen, I’ll need your help. If you want to share what you do and how you’ve reached this point, then read on.
(If not, read on too, please)
🚀 Spotlight: New on findaspacejob.com
Here are some of the most interesting roles that have been added to the site this week:
Optical Engineer @ Odysseus Space (Luxembourg)
👉 Odysseus Space is still growing and looking for specialists to work on their core laser communication tech. A great chance to join a team with clear momentum.
MBSE Internship @ SpaceDreamsS (France)
👉 Model Based Systems Engineering is a super valuable skill for the future of complex engineering. And specially if you apply it to the development of a launcher spaceport.
Earth Observation Systems Engineer @ ESA (Netherlands)
👉 A classic, high-impact role at ESA's tech heart, ESTEC. If working with satellite data and defining future missions sounds like your thing, this is one to check out.
Space Project Manager @ HUN-REN (Hungary)
👉 Here’s one you don't see every day! A project manager role for a research network in Hungary. A great reminder that the European space ecosystem is wider than you might think. I love this!!!!!
Internal Research Fellow (Space System Cyber Security) @ ESA (Germany)
👉 This title is a mouthful, but the topic is critical: protecting space systems from cyber-attacks. This is a deep-tech fellowship for someone who wants to work on the front line of securing satellites in orbit.
Flight Dynamics Engineer @ ESA (Germany)
👉 This one is a classic. Those who love it, love it big time. Worth checking out.
(…and many more jobs on the new job board!)
🛰️ This week’s top jobs
Some nice openings outside Find a Space Job also…

Junior Embedded Software test engineer @ D-Orbit (Italy)
Master Thesis: Thesis in SmallSat Core Avionics Products: Testing of De-/Encoding of Secure F-Series Telecommands/ Telemetry on FPGA @ Airbus (Germany)
Attitude and Orbital Control System/Guidance, Navigation & Control (AOCS/GNC) Placement @ Airbus (UK)
Spacecraft Operations and System Engineer (d/m/w) @ Airbus (Germany)
Ground Telecoms Architect @ Thales (Italy)
Avionics Test Engineer @ Isar Aerospace (Germany)
I’d like to feature short, written interviews on the blog to show the many different paths into the industry. The goal is to create a resource of real-world advice for everyone looking for a job in the space industry. I feel the shoutouts in the newsletter are great but could be improved, don’t you think?
It's super simple:
It’s a written Q&A. No calls or anything like that (just yet…)
It should only take about 15-20 minutes to write down your answers.
It’s for everyone: students, engineers, career-switchers, people in non-tech roles, etc. (Although I’d prioritise professionals this time - sorry students)
If you're open to sharing your journey, please fill in this form!
Don’t tell me this doesn’t look AMAZING

Do you think we’ll ever see something like this in Europe?
More to come next week!
Until next Thursday,
Jaime
Find a Space Job
P.S. This is my favourite part of the newsletter I have to admit (last week it was 11 of you haha) → you know what not to do
But no matter what do you please don’t click here. This time for real.
— Connect on LinkedIn and follow the Find a Space Job for updates between issues.
