💰 Follow the Money… again
Last week we shared the summary of the funding rounds into European space companies. But there were two more this past week also. So basically you have no excuse to start applying to these companies if you really want to find a space job.
Space Cargo Unlimited (€27.5M Series A): The largest Series A in Europe for in-space manufacturing. They’re scaling BentoBox, an autonomous microgravity production platform for pharmaceuticals and materials science.
What this means for jobs: Expect opportunities in microgravity research, autonomous systems, materials science, pharmaceuticals, and in-space manufacturing operations.Kreios Space (€8M seed): They’re advancing their air-breathing plasma propulsion system and preparing to launch their first satellites into very low Earth orbit.
What this means for jobs: Look for roles in plasma propulsion, satellite engineering, VLEO mission operations and a lot of hands on AIT/testing.A bit unrelated as we didn’t raise any money but if your company is hiring and is looking to promote its openings to the Find a Space Job audience, just reach out directly.
I wish to see more funding this week but it’s hard to keep this pace… But the industry is growing!

Nice ESA Academy course on EO commercialisation: deadline is this saturday
A completely unrelated PhD but I loved numerical methods back at uni so share it here just in case anyone else does: PhD on NH3 stuff
Although it seems I left it on the side: the plan is to keep this going so why not help a friend out?
This is all for this week. More to come.
Until next Thursday!
P.S. Remember: the Career Spotlight is still on so if you want to be part of it: you can do so here!
Last week we solved a crucial question on how to face really challenging problems… If you missed it, the answer lies hidden in a link somewhere in last week’s newsletter. This week we change focus: check this out ← this guy is my new hero. Should we try it out ourselves? If you send me a nice idea I might consider it
As usual: please connect on LinkedIn and follow the Find a Space Job for updates between issues.
