Elon Musk's Required Reading + Best New Space Jobs
Your weekly shortcut to the best opportunities in the European space industry.

Alright, let’s get in to this week’s jobs.
Great to see the response to the ESA roles last week. I hope some of you got your applications in before the deadline. Let me know if you’d like me to remind you of this type of roles before the deadline.
This week, I’ve got a fresh batch of opportunities from across Europe: engineering, business and early-stage/research.
Let's see what we've got.

📚 Book recommendation: “Lift Off” by Eric Berger

“Just read it”.
At least that’s what Elon Musk says 😅
Jokes aside, this book tells the story of the very beginnings of SpaceX and the (numerous and nearly catastrophic, for the company, that is) failures of the Falcon 1 rocket on a remote island in the Pacific. It's a story about a small team pushing against bankruptcy, technical disaster and impossible odds.
It might not help you get a job… but it’s an amazing read.

🧠 Last week’s experiment follow up
Last week I challenged you to reach out to one person for a chat/interview/questions.
Did anyone do it?
If you did, I'm curious what happened. Did you get a reply? Learn something unexpected? You can reply and tell me (I won't share any personal details). I just want to know if this kind of advice is genuinely useful or if you’d prefer other topics. This is a two-way street, as they say.
🔗 Help This Community Grow
I need your help to expand our reach:
Tell me: Which company (or kind of role) should I add next? I’ll use your replies to prioritise upcoming job hunts.
Share: Know someone looking for a role in space? Forward this email or share findaspacejob.com — your share helps grow this for everyone.
Build with me: Have you got any feedback for the newsletter or board? The more feedback, the better the site becomes.
Your input directly shapes our next steps!
And that’s Issue #9 complete. I hope you find these opportunities helpful!
As usual, expect more roles in findaspacejob.com during the week..
Until next Thursday,
Jaime
