Apply before next week! + 20 new European space jobs

Don't miss JPP deadlines. Plus roles at Thales, ISISPACE, GomSpace and the networking move that actually works

New Thursday, new jobs!

It’s amazing to see more people finding their way here each week. A big welcome to all of you.

This week's job hunt has turned up another interesting mix. I've tried to find a balance, so expect roles for seasoned pros, but also a few that could be a solid entry point into the European space industry. We have hands-on AIT work, systems engineering, research positions that go beyond the surface, and project management roles with real impact.

Let's see if your next coffee break includes a job application. You can always thank me later ;)

  2. Flight Software Engineer @ ESA (Netherlands) – although temporal role, it’s a great opportunity.

The site is being updated pretty much daily. Don't just wait for this email if you're actively looking. (And yes, feedback or specific job requests? Hit reply.)

🧠 This week’s experiment

Okay, this week you’ve got homework. If you’re really looking for a job, I suggest you do things differently. Most people read and then do nothing, though, so here’s a challenge:

Find someone doing work that genuinely fascinates you (not just any random engineer, but someone whose job you're actually curious about). There must be plenty: a launcher operations manager, someone designing inspace propulsion systems, a business developer for EO data… Up to you.

Then ask them something specific. Not "give me a job" (I’ve got so many like these, haha) but something like: "I noticed your recent post about …" or directly questions about their job responsibilities.

Space people love talking about space (at least I do). Most will happily spend some time explaining why their bit of the industry is both the most exciting and often the most frustrating thing ever.

Of course, you need to actually be curious about their answer, not just hunting for job referrals. Genuine interest is obvious, and so is the fake stuff.

What’s the worst that happens? They ignore you. And the best? Well, you learn and get a new connection. Cold selling in a nutshell.
